This week’s photo challenge theme is Fresh.
Perfect timing for the theme. I clicked these photos a few days ago and was planning on posting them .
These are the leaves of a lily I have in my small garden. They remain fresh, green and beautiful like this for the whole year except for the two months when the flowers start blooming at which time all of the leaves fall out.
(Click here to see the photo of the lily in a previous post)
I tried to take a new photograph for this week’s photo challenge but it’s been grey and cloudy skies day after day and no hint of any shades of sunset or the sun. So I decided to go with a photo I took a year ago. I clicked it while travelling to Mookambika temple in Karnataka.
For those who haven’t seen in already I’ve included two other photos I posted before that was taken around the time of sunset.

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable. -- Bruce Lee
